Mundorf offers the largest selection of Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeters in the worldwide. The different lines were developed for certain applications and requirements. The current Mundorf HiFi AMT tweeters have two superior key properties: 1) excellent transient response and 2) outstanding low distortion ratio. The differences lie mainly in their frequency ranges, sound pressure levels and dispersion angles.

The AMT17D2.2 model is a Free-standiing Dipole. It can be as a SUPER Tweeter for existing speakers or as a free standing tweeter in dipole systems. NO Baffle reuqired with frequency range up to 31,000 Hz
